Our Mission
To assist businesses by providing long term, lower rate financing for their growth and development, while improving the overall economic condition of the area.
First District Development Company (FDDC) is a non-profit corporation promoting economic development and job creation in Eastern South Dakota. Established in 1983 as a Certified Development Company, First District Development Company is licensed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to offer the SBA 504 Loan Program.
Since 1983, FDDC has loaned over $63 million in SBA 504 financing to over 210 new or expanding businesses resulting in the creation of over 1600 jobs.

NOTICE: To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all Certified Development Companies to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who applies for an SBA 504 Loan. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR FDDC BORROWERS: When you apply for a 504 Loan, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
